Unlimited: Unlimited meal swipes per week in Residental Dining Halls, plus $75 Flex Dollars at the start of each semester. Non-transferable. Available to all students. $4,510 per semester.

19 On Demand: 19 meal swipes per week in Residental Dining Halls, plus $225 Flex Dollars at the start of each semester. Non-transferable. Available to all students. $4,510 per semester.

15 On Demand: 15 meal swipes per week in Residential Dining Halls, plus $375 Flex Dollars at the start of each semester. Non-transferable. Available to all students. $4,510 per semester.

12 On Demand: 12 meal swipes per week in Residential Dining Halls, plus $450 Flex Dollars at the start of each semester. Non-transferable. Not available to first year students. Sophomores living on campus must select this plan or higher. $4,050 per semester.

5 On Demand: 5 meal swipes per week in Residential Dining Halls, plus $300 Flex Dollars at the start of each semester. Non-transferable. Only available to RA'S, Graduate Students, undergraduate students living off campus or in an approved Greek Residence. Not Available to first year students or sophomores living on campus. $1,790 per semester.

First year students can choose either the Unlimited, 19 On Demand or 15 On Demand meal plans. Sophomore students can choose either the Unlimited, 19 On Demand, 15 On Demand or 12 On Demand Meal Plan.

The only meal plan options for Summer 2026 will be Block Plans. These can be purchased for Students living on or off campus for the Summer 2026 only. Students living on campus during the Fall 2026 semester will need to sign up for a residential meal plan. Student RAD can be used at all dining and retail locations as well.

50 Block Plan + 100 Flex: This plan includes 50 anytime meal swipes, usable in the dining halls, plus $100 in Flex Dollars for use at retail dining locations on campus during the Summer 2026 semester. This plan is non-transferable, costs $750, and will be charged to your bursar bill. To purchase this plan, please email auxiliaryservices@rpi.edu and include your full name and RIN.

25 Block Plan + 125 Flex: This plan includes 25 anytime meal swipes, usable in the dining halls, plus $125 in Flex Dollars for use at retail dining locations on campus during the Summer 2026 semester. This plan is non-transferable, costs $475, and will be charged to your bursar bill. To purchase this plan, please email auxiliaryservices@rpi.edu and include your full name and RIN.

Graduate Student Plan: This plan offers 20 anytime swipe meals, to be used in the dining halls during the Summer 2026 semester. This plan is non-transferable. Graduate Students Only. To purchase this plan, please email auxiliaryservices@rpi.edu and include your full name and RIN.

Block Plans Purchased for Summer 2026 will expire on the last day of Summer 2026 Semester on August 14,2026. If you run out of meal swipes during the semester you can always purchase another plan at any time during the semester.

Please note that any unused meal swipes or flex will be forfeited at the end of Summer 2026 semester.

Student RAD will be available if students do not want to commit to a Block Plan and still want to enjoy the dining and retail locations on campus this summer. For more information on Student RAD and to sign up please visit the Auxiliary Services Website or email campuscard@rpi.edu.

50 Block Plan + 100 Flex: This plan includes 50 anytime meal swipes, usable in the dining halls, plus $100 in Flex Dollars for use at retail dining locations on campus. Unused meal swipes and Flex Dollars will roll over from the Fall semester to the Spring and ARCH/Summer semesters; however, any remaining balances will expire at the end of the ARCH/Summer Semester on August 14th. This plan is non-transferable, costs $725, and will be charged to your bursar bill.

Faculty/Staff: As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline services and offer greater flexibility, we are transitioning to the Community RAD (Rensselaer Advantage Dollars) system as the primary dining option for faculty and staff. Community RAD account holders will receive a discount on the door rate at all dining halls and retail locations on campus. This offer cannot be combined with Faculty Staff Appreciation Day promotions. For more information about Community RAD and to sign up please visit the Rensselaer Advantage Dollars Webpage.

Flex Dollars, which add flexibility to your dining plan options and are incorporated into each plan, are yours to spend like cash at Rensselaer Dining locations in the Rensselaer Union, cafes around campus, concessions, and resident dining halls. Flex Dollars are allotted by semester and carry over from the Fall to Spring semester, but end on the last day of the academic calendar and are thereafter forfeited. Flex Dollars are also forfeited upon cancellation of the meal plan.

**PURCHASE OF FLEX DOLLARS: **

Flex Dollars are added to an account during regular Monday - Friday business hours. Purchases made on Fridays after regular business hours will not be added to the account until the following Monday or the next open business day should it fall on a holiday.

Add Flex Dollars anytime here!

RAD is a campus declining balance account that you may purchase at any time. It carries over from year to year and ends only at the time you leave Rensselaer. RAD can be used at vending machines in addition to Rensselaer Dining locations.
