Beginning August 23, 2024 the Door Prices will be as follows:

2024-2025 Resident Dining Plans
Unlimited-- Unlimited meals per week to be used in Resident Dining Halls, plus $150 Flex Dollars per year ($75 at the start of each semester). Non-transferable. Available to all students,Required for residential first year students.$8,470/year -- $4,235 charged per semester.
19 On Demand-- 19 anytime meals per week to be used in Resident Dining Halls, plus $300 Flex Dollars per year ($150 at the start of each semester). Non-transferable. Not available to first year students, available to all other students. $8,340/year -- $4,170 charged per semester
15 On Demand-- 15 anytime meals per week to be used in Resident Dining Halls, plus $500 Flex Dollars per year ($250 at the start of each semester). Non-transferable. Not available to first year students, available to all other students. $8,250/year -- $4,125 charged per semester
12 On Demand-- 12 anytime meals per week to be used in Resident Dining Halls, plus $700 Flex Dollars per year ($350 at the start of each semester). Non-transferable. Not available to first year students, available to all other students. $7,410/year -- $3,705 charged per semester
5 on Demand-- 5 anytime meals per week to be used in Resident Dining Halls, plus $600 Flex Dollars per year ($300 at the start of each semester). Non-transferable. Only available to RAs, graduate students, or those undergraduate students approved to be living off campus or in an approved Greek Residence. $3,360/year -- $1,680 charged per semester
First year students are not allowed a plan change, all others have until the 10th day of the plan (For Fall 2024 – that date is Saturday, September 7 at 5pm) to make a plan change.
Off Campus, Graduate Student and Faculty & Staff | Dining Plans
Commuter Block 25+125: This plan offers you the convenience of 25 anytime swipe meals per semester, allowing you to dine according to your schedule. On top of that, you'll also receive $125 Flex Dollars per semester to further enhance your dining experience. Please note that this plan is non-transferable and comes at a cost of $370 charged per semester. Click here to purchase this meal plan!
Commuter 50+100: If you desire even more flexibility, the Commuter 50+100 plan might be the perfect fit. With this option, you'll enjoy 50 anytime swipe meals per semester, giving you ample opportunities to enjoy your meals on campus. Additionally, you'll receive $100 Flex Dollars per semester to indulge in culinary delights. Similar to the previous plan, this option is non-transferable and comes at a cost of $590 charged per semester. Click here to purchase this meal plan!
Graduate Student Plan: If you are a graduate student and find yourself in need of a meal plan, this is the one for you! With this option, you'll enjoy 20 anytime swipe meals per semester. This meal plan is $199 per semester. Click here to purchase this meal plan!
Faculty & Staff Block 15: The Faculty & Staff plan provides you with 15 anytime swipe meals, ensuring that you have access to nourishing meals throughout your busy schedule. This plan is available at a cost of $140 charged per academic year. Click here to purchase this meal plan!
Flex Dollars

Flex Dollars, which add flexibility to your dining plan options and are incorporated into each plan, are yours to spend like cash at Rensselaer Dining locations in the Rensselaer Union, retail cafes around campus, Moe's, Panera, concessions, and resident dining halls. Flex Dollars are allotted by semester and carry over from the Fall to Spring semester, but end on the last day of the academic calendar and are thereafter forfeited. Flex Dollars are also forfeited upon cancellation of the meal plan.
PURCHASE OF FLEX DOLLARS:
Flex Dollars are added to an account during regular Monday - Friday business hours. Purchases made on Fridays after regular business hours will not be added to the account until the following Monday or the next open business day should it fall on a holiday.

Rensselaer Advantage Dollars (RAD)
RAD is a campus declining balance account that you may purchase at any time. It carries over from year to year and ends only at the time you leave Rensselaer. RAD can be used at vending machines in addition to Rensselaer Dining locations.
